Educational Challenges in Longview

Recent federal statistics have revealed that the Longview area is undergoing an educational crisis. The high school graduation rate in our community is lower than the national average, while our dropout rate is considerably higher than most other states. In addition, Longview trails behind other states by as much as 30% when it comes to students who receive a Bachelor’s degree or better during their educational career.

The Fullman & Lawrence Agency is committed to reversing these troubling trends and working to ensure that children in our community are provided with all the resources they need to excel in school.

Ambassadors for Education

As regional Ambassadors for the #AgentsofChange network, our agency is leading a local effort to help provide young children with the tools and support they need to succeed. We will be assisting in a number of initiatives to make sure schoolrooms in our area are stocked with scholastic supplies, that the special or specific needs of school-aged children are properly addressed, and that all the children in our community have access to nutritious meals to fuel their studies.

There is a great deal of work to do to make sure our children are properly educated, and we need your help during this initiative.

What You Can Do

Donations aren’t necessary – we need you to help us spread the word about this campaign and help us let people know how important it is for our children to receive a proper education. Anyone you refer into the Fullman & Lawrence Agency will receive a complimentary insurance consultation, and then we will make a contribution IN YOUR NAME to a regional program that will help boost educational efforts going forward.
